When is the Kids Heart Challenge event?

Are we collecting money or doing online only this year?
Both:) Though ONLINE is preferred and easier in my opinion, you can definitely bring cash money. Please ONLY BRING CASH MONEY THE FINAL WEEK OF OUR CAMPAIGN...October 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th in the morning from 7:35-8:15 a.m. or during your P.E. time. Please DO NOT leave money in my box.

Where and what time are the Kids Heart Challenge activities/event?
At school during P.E. class

Do I need to fill out the youth consent, release, and identification form (permission slip)?
No, some of the coordinators do their Kids Heart Challenge activities as an after-school event, therefore a release needs to be signed. We chose to do it as a part of our PE class to ensure activities are accessible to all and everyone will be able to participate.

What characters can I earn during the event?
Refer to the sheet sent home to see this year's characters or view the above video about This Year's Prizes;). Instant character prizes will be given out once a week on Fridays during our fundraiser.

If I do not set up a fundraising page or raise any money, can my child still participate in Kids Heart Challenge activities in PE?
Absolutely! We encourage children to raise funds for the American Heart Association to help kids with sick hearts but it is NOT mandatory.

When will I receive my Thank You gifts?
About a week after the event is over, Coach Griffin will place the order for the school. It takes 4-6 weeks for Kids Heart Challenge thank you gifts to come in.
